Who We Are
We were recently awarded: 2005-2007 Biennial Award Citation of Merit for Outstanding Alumnae Panhellenic Plano Area Alumnae Panhellenic was chartered in 1975 to
promote interfraternity friendship and
collaboration. The organization
served the area of Plano and other communities to the north and east. In 1996, Richardson Alumnae
Panhellenic disbanded and merged with Plano Area Alumnae Panhellenic. In 1999, the organization became known
as Plano-Richardson Area Alumnae Panhellenic. A new alumnae Panhellenic
organization was chartered in 2003 to serve Frisco, Allen and other
communities north and east of Plano.
Consequently, the word ‘Area’ was dropped from the name of
our organization in 2005.
Plano-Richardson Alumnae Panhellenic is affiliated with the National
Panhellenic Conference. Plano-Richardson Alumnae Panhellenic disseminates information
pertaining to and fostering the cause of Greek-letter fraternities. Prime objectives are promoting
membership in Greek-letter organizations and providing information on
prospective new members to alumnae for the purpose of member sponsorship. Sponsoring educational projects through scholarships and
promoting interests in the area of social services, civic affairs and
philanthropic fields are additional endeavors of the Plano-Richardson Alumnae
Panhellenic. Membership is open to alumnae of the twenty-six National
Panhellenic Conference member fraternities. Alpha Chi Omega Delta
